I had the privilege of seeing my new cousin's arrival today!

My little cousin really enjoyed her birthday cake!

It's warming up enough that the snow that's been on our roof for a couple of week is melting. The holly and verbena are in just the right place to catch the dripping ice. Pretty, but I don't know how good it is for the plants.

Another morning with fresh snow covering the road, I saw sunshine. :)
But it didn't last long. :(

I'm WAY behind but will get caught up someday. I read a blog post that said if you get behind on a 365 not to let it stress you and to work backward to catch up. So that's my game plan and the reason the numbers aren't in order.

More snow this morning, slow and lazy flakes. I took a wooden cutting board outside to catch some flakes. Of course this is cropped a LOT and I wish it was sharper, but you can definitely see the details of the snowflakes.

Everything was still covered with ice and snow for most of the day from yesterday's winter weather.

34/365: Freeze Frame

Freezing rain most of the night and a morning snow made for a beautiful morning scene!

33/365: Growth

The amaryllis is getting ready to bloom. It is about 2 1/2 feet tall now, a big change from this shot!

This squirrel was an unexpected visitor to Mom's deck! (very poor quality iPhone picture)

Snowflakes and frost on the window--these stayed for several days because of the cold temperatures.

Looks like these elevator buttons at the hospital need polished.

These beautiful tulips from my nephew for Mom in the hospital brought a touch of spring to her room! (Taken with iPhone)

17/365: Dangerous

Photos shot with the iPhone (yes, while I was driving but the road was straight!) on the Bluegrass Parkway. Not much snow when I shot these, but it just kept coming down. Later, I saw a car hit a bridge and spin around in the median. I was so happy when there was no snow when I got to I-65!

15/365: Round (well, not quite!)

I was surprised to see some definition of the moon since this shot was taken in the afternoon!
