45/365, #41: Canine Companion

This is Annie, my parents' dog and my "sister." We went for a long walk this morning and she was worn out!

44/365, #232: Photograph

These photos were all scanned, printed, and put on display boards for my parents' 50th Anniversary celebration. There are about 350 photos taken in the past 50 years. It's hard to tell the size of the boards, but they are app. 28" x 38". I've been busy and am finally finished! Now I need to get the slideshow done...

Some feathered friends at the feeder: House Finches, Gold Finches, and a Tufted Titmouse.

42/365, #357: What's for Dinner?

It's snowing again today! I took the screen out of the window and set the tripod up.
This Red-Bellied Woodpecker is having his dinner!

41/365, #3: A Movie Title

This is not the best photo (taken with my little purse camera) and I'm sure this movie title has been used by another BlogMonster, but it sure reminds me of that movie.
Although you can't really tell what they are in the photo, the dark specks in the sky are birds! This was taken on 1/31 while sitting in a parking lot waiting for my sister. There had to be millions of these birds, they just kept coming for more than 30 minutes. There were more behind our truck, too. It was kind of scary! Wonder where they were going?

40/365, #250: Rainbow

We had a storm this afternoon and when it was over, my husband pointed out this rainbow to me. Of course, I stopped what I was doing, got the camera, and went outside to take the photo!

Winter Wonderland

I've already posted one of these tree pics, but thought I'd share a scrapbook page. I did this at Hummie's World as a speed scrap. Kit is by Sandy Collins at Digital Design Den.

If you're a scrapper and want a good deal on kits, the Den is going out of business and everything is 50% off. The designers are fabulous and have high quality kits!

39/365, #189: Moving

You saw the large photo here, but this time I changed it to selective color for a challenge at Digital Design Den. The other two pictures show 'moving' and motion blur, I'm just not fast enough! The title is a cheer the little cheerleaders do at Rory's games!
Background papers created by Jan and Sandy, star border by Sherrie for a collaborative member kit called "Kids & Kaboodle."

38/365, #18: Baby, It's Cold Outside!

It really wasn't so cold on the day that I shot this at Greenbo Lake State Park, but you can tell it had been. I thought it was cool that the ice looked like it was growing up from the ground--like stalagmites!

37/365, #14: Artificial

Artificial--ya think? :-) These guys are on a cabinet at work. We keep them around for any children who come in with their parents and need something to do!

36/365, #74: Dangerous

Ice can be very dangerous! These were taken on January 28, the day after the ice storm hit our area. Vicki asked on this post about someone cutting up the logs. (I posted back that since it was a state park someone would eventually come back and clean up the logs.) Along other roadways, county maintenance crews will clear the trees back far enough from the road not to be a danger to cars, but we'll see lots of logs on the sides of the road for a long time in the future.

35/365, #352: Watch

This deer was watching me while I was watching her!

34/365, #187: Monotone

Another photo of our winter storm, taken on January 28. The snow is almost gone today--finally!!

33/365, #299: Sport

This is my nephew Rory warming up for the game. He scored 12 points!

32/365, #123: Go Fish!

There were several people ice fishing on the frozen Greenbo Lake today. The air temperature was about 60 degrees, I wonder what the water temperature was?

31/365, #175: Logs

Another example of the destruction of the ice storm we had at the end of January. Logs like this are everywhere.

30/365, #209: On the Water

These ducks at Grayson Lake are walking ON the frozen water!

29/365, #307: Stuck

This boat at Greenbo Lake State Park isn't going anywhere since the lake is frozen--it's stuck!

28/365, #71: Curly

This curly slide on a boat at Grayson Lake State Park would be fun in the summer, but right now it would be cold and hard since the lake is frozen!

:-(

I'm a bad blogger and am way behind on posting photos. I've taken many and I WILL GET CAUGHT UP, hopefully this weekend.

I don't always have time to comment on everyone's photos, but I do enjoy taking a peek whenever I get a chance. We have some very talented photographers on the BlogMonster!

27/365, #339: Trio

A trio of trees, all weighed down by the snow and ice.
